How to Run an Editorial Meeting
Assess Your Meetings
Once you have a regular format and rhythm to your editorial meetings, its important to check in with reporters and producers, to make sure the system is working for them, specifically, whether they feel supported and able to do their best work.
Be open to change, and new ideas that make your meetings more effective. And remember to guide your decisions based on what's right for the listener, above what works for your staff and station. It's tough to do, but you'll be rewarded with better journalism.
