Part 2: Identify the Problem or Issue
In print, this would be your "nut graph." In radio, this is where you put your "nut cut:" the sound bite from your main character that explains what's at stake in the problem or issue you're covering. Timing-wise, in a four minute piece, you should be hitting your nut cut about 45 seconds into the piece.
